I don't know if this was meant to be humorous, but I found Joe the Plumber's rant kind of funny and random. He reminds me of one of my dad's friends. I realize he's middle class and all, but why do we seriously care what this guy thinks?

Joe would have been much cooler if he had hired a spokesperson to answer questions from the press. You know, like, his buddy, Mike, the unlicensed electrician.
This rant is funny Amanda. But, I find it hard to take anything he says seriously. He lost his credibility before he even had any by asking questions about his fictional life.
I agree. I watched some other interviews with him on the news, and he said he could foresee himself making close to $1 million one day in plumbing, and why should he have to pay more taxes because he worked harder? Seriously, what kind of plumbing is he into that could yield him $1 million a year? Apparently he went on this rant early in the morning, and then refused to come out of his house the rest of the day.. wonder why? :)
